✅ Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plan Prepared under the World Bank-Financed Project

⇒ Pursuant to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4791 dated 29 July 2020, “On Measures to Further Improve the Reliability of Electricity Supply in Tashkent City and Tashkent Region,” the investment project “Construction of the New 500 kV Halqa Substation and 220 kV and 500 kV Overhead Transmission Lines” is being implemented with financing from the World Bank.

In accordance with the World Bank’s environmental and social requirements, the Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plan (LARP) was prepared and translated into the Uzbek language.

► Project Overview

As part of the investment project “Construction of the New 500 kV Halqa Substation and 220 kV and 500 kV Overhead Transmission Lines,” a 500 kV overhead transmission line is being constructed. The transmission line has a total length of 72.19 km and passes through three districts of the Tashkent Region: Kuyi Chirchik, Akkurgan, and Piskent.
