1. The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Digitize to Decarbonize – Power Transmission Grid Enhancement Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

 

2. The JSC “National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan” (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the following:

3. One (1) Bidding Document will be issued to cover all lots. Bidders may bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the Bidding Document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so provided those discounts are included in the Bid Submission Sheet.

 

4. Open competitive bidding (national advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.

 

5. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications defined in the Bidding Document may participate in this bidding:

 

(i) Experience:

Successful completion as main supplier, within the last 5 years of at least 2 contracts of similar nature and complexity with minimum values of:

- Lot 1: $960,000

- Lot 2: $600,000

- Lot 3: $500,000

- Lot 4: $730,000

- Lot 5: $230,000

 

(ii) Financial Capacity:

Minimum average annual turnover over the last 3 years of:

- Lot 1: $2,400,000

- Lot 2: $1,500,000

- Lot 3: $1,250,000

- Lot 4: $1,850,000

- Lot 5: $550,000

 

Detailed qualification requirements are provided in Section 3 of the Bidding Document.

The electronic version of the Bidding Document will be sent by email to address indicated in the request. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

 

8. Deliver your bid:

• together with a Bid Security as described in the Bidding Document.

 

Bids will be opened promptly after the deadline for bid submission in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
