On April 21–22, 2026, a technical meeting was held in Tashkent between JSC "National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan" (NEGU) and the German development bank KfW. The parties discussed key areas of cooperation related to tariff policy, compensation mechanisms, modernization of energy infrastructure, pilot projects, land issues, and technical upgrades.

The sides noted the importance of experience exchange, particularly in the areas of substation operation and pricing.

Cooperation between “NEGU” JSC and KfW continues.
