On 23 July of the current year JSC ‘National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan’ held a meeting with representatives of the Turkish delegation of ‘ŞA-RA Enerji İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş’ company. During the meeting, they discussed the current state of investment projects and plans for the future in cooperation with ŞA-RA Enerji İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş.

In particular, to the current days in cooperation with ‘ŞA-RA Enerji İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş’ 213 kilometres of 220 kV power transmission lines in Tashkent region and 137 kilometres of 500 kV power transmission lines in the south-western part of the country are under construction.

In addition, information was introduced on the planned works on the development of backbone electric grids and integration of renewable energy sources into the grid, as well as on the prospects of co-operation with ‘ŞA-RA Enerji İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş’.
