Uzbek President Visits Large Manufacturing Company in Tashkent

On July 21, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the activities of the Alutex company in Sergeli district.

Special emphasis is placed on the development of alternative energy in Uzbekistan. In particular, a large-scale project to install solar panels has been launched. This increases the demand for aluminum profiles.

In May this year, Alutex LLC launched a project to produce aluminum profiles for windows and solar panels. The enterprise can produce 30 thousand tons of aluminum profiles of more than 350 types annually.

The President got acquainted with the production process and products of the plant.

“We are planning to build solar and wind power stations with the world’s leading companies with a total capacity of more than 15 gigawatts”. Green energy is a ready market with great opportunities for our producers. Quality is the only main requirement”, said the President.

The company has modern equipment from Italy, South Korea, and Turkiye. As a result, 400 new jobs have been created. Production of another 130 new types of aluminum profiles will start in September. The products will be supplied abroad with import substitution.
