On September 13, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Samarkand.

The President visited the mausoleum of Imam Bukhari. The Surahs (verses) from the Holy Quran and dua were recited.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev also honored the memory of the First President of our country Islam Karimov.

 The major international events will soon be held in Samarkand. The visits of Heads of foreign states begin tomorrow. On September 15-16, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will chaired the 22nd meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
